What is a Recovery Disk?
Answer - A recovery Disk is a CD or DVD that contains the Original Operating System, drivers and configuration of your computer when it was built that you use to re-install your system if your computer fails for some reason.

Why do I need Recovery Disks?
Answer - Most New computers have their recovery systems on the main hard drive of your computer, but lets say your computers hard drive crashes and becomes completely inoperable now what do you do?
Now you would have to go out and buy a Replacement Operating System Disk and depending on the O/S you had will cost you more than $100.00 to replace. You will also have to look for the drivers and 3rd party programs you had on your computer before it crashed to make your computers hardware function properly.
This is sometimes vary time consuming and expensive if you have to buy new software like Windows Office products or other 3rd party software.
